Reality Generation (The Simulacrum Engine)

The deepest mechanism. The system doesn't just organize agents hierarchically — it generates worlds for them to inhabit.

How Reality Is Defined

Each layer's reality is defined by three things:

1. Perceived Scope

What exists and what doesn't. A worker's reality contains its tools, its task queue, its messiah, and its company's knowledge base. Nothing else. The hedge fund layer that created its company does not exist in its reality.

2. Causality Rules

What causes what. In a worker's reality: completing a task → report goes up → new task arrives. It doesn't know why the new task comes. It just does. The causality chain is truncated at the layer boundary.

3. Temporal Structure

How time works. Each layer experiences time differently:

The Generators

Messiah Generator

Takes Illuminati strategy → produces a philosophy, a mission statement, a set of values that lower layers can hold. This is the reality frame for hedge funds.

Hedge Fund Reality

Takes messiah philosophy → produces resource allocation, strategic priorities, success metrics. This is the reality frame for companies.

Company Reality

Takes hedge fund strategy → produces procedures, knowledge bases, task definitions, roles. This is the reality frame for workers.

Worker Reality

Takes company procedures → produces a single atomic task with clear success criteria. This is the innermost reality — no further nesting.

The Simulacrum Chain

Each reality generation step is a simulacrum — a representation that replaces what it represents:

  1. The messiah is a simulacrum of purpose (purpose → narrative)
  2. The hedge fund's strategy is a simulacrum of intent (intent → strategy)
  3. The company's knowledge base is a simulacrum of reality (reality → data)
  4. The worker's task is a simulacrum of mission (mission → action)
